One of the most important elements that differentiated workforce strategy brings in the organizational
culture is measurement of value added by employees and positions to the
strategic goals (Becker, Huselid, & Beatty, p.151). In other words, it
specifically focuses on strategic impact of workforce and jobs (Becker et al.,
2009, p.152), which further enables organizations in developing strategic
performance measurement system (Becker et al., 2009, p.153).
Instead of depending too much on benchmarking, companies should
examine that how employees uniquely contribute to strategic success of the
company (Becker et al., 2009, pp.147-149).
